Amplify ASB
Amplify Austin Day is the biggest day of giving in Central Texas. For 24 hours starting 6 pm on March 6, residents are invited to participate by giving back to local nonprofits.
While ASB is thriving artistically, this is a challenging time financially. For most of ASB's existence, we have received support from the Cultural Arts Division of the City of Austin. This is no longer the case, and as a result we are facing daunting financial pressure. Your donation will help us recover and grow this year and into the future. The Austin Symphonic Band is a community of passionate musicians who share their love of music with audiences of all ages and backgrounds. This is music for you!
Would you like to attend a formal black-tie concert, but your tux is at the cleaners? Don’t worry, we dress up for you! Come to our next concert and wear whatever you like.
Families: ASB offers free outdoor concerts, perfect for families with young children. Bring a blanket and picnic basket and let your kids have fun while listening to the music. As they grow older, they may enjoy ASB's indoor performances, where they can experience the thrill of hearing classical music in a concert hall setting. Music education enhances children’s social and academic skills.
Music students: Attend ASB's concerts and experience high level musicianship in live performance. Whatever your career path, there is a place for you in the music world! You might even be inspired to join ASB some day and become part of this amazing musical family. Seniors: ASB’s concerts are both enjoyable and affordable. Come and listen to music that will stir your emotions, make you smile, maybe even make you dance.
