The Austin Symphonic Band is happy to share its love of music with audiences of all generations — parents, students and seniors. Whatever your age, this is music for you!
This year ASB will present three formal indoor concerts and three free outdoor concerts: Mother’s Day at the Capitol, Father’s Day at Lakeline Park, and Round Rock Frontier Days on the Fourth of July. In addition, ASB will join with other community bands for a joint concert at Round Top Festival Hall on May 17. Mark your calendars!

The Austin Symphonic Band's second concert of the season is a stirring tribute to the World War II generation, featuring a selection of powerful pieces. From the rousing “Commando March” by Samuel Barber to the poignant “Lest We Forget” by Robert Jager, each composition captures the spirit and the emotions of an era marked by both tragedy and heroism. The concert is not just a performance but a commemoration of the end of the war, inviting the audience to reflect on the past while experiencing the timeless beauty of the music.
The Austin Symphonic Band, renowned for exceptional performances, presents its third concert of the season, “Celebration." The program promises a diverse range of music, from the uplifting "Halcyon Hearts" by Katahj Copley to the playful "Variations on a theme by Robert Schumann" by Robert Jager. The audience will also experience the dramatic "Bacchanale" from Saint-Saens' Samson and Delila, and the world premiere of a piece by the talented young composer Ryan Fillinger. The concert will conclude with the energetic "Dance of the Jesters" by Tchaikovsky, ensuring a finale that's as festive as it is memorable.
Join us for a melodious Mother's Day at the State Capitol! The Austin Symphonic Band is set to serenade the South Steps with a symphony of sounds, from spirited marches to captivating theater melodies. It's the perfect way to show appreciation for Mom on her special day – all wrapped up in the gift of music and the grandeur of the Capitol.

Celebrate Father’s Day with a musical treat!
The concert is free and open to the public. There are public restrooms nearby and a playground for the kids. Bring the whole family!
Celebrate the Fourth of July with patriotic music and fireworks! Come to an Independence Day concert by the Austin Symphonic Band at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock. Enjoy a variety of tunes from classical to pop, and watch the dazzling explosion of colors in the sky. Don't miss this fun and festive event for the whole family!
