ASB celebrates your Dad with this annual concert at the Zilker Hillside Theatre.

What better way to close out a great day with Mom than by taking her to a free concert at the Texas State Capitol in her honor?

The Austin Symphonic Band celebrates the rich and abundant heritage of music from throughout the Americas, performing music from our own USA as well as indigenous music filled with the ethnic vitality of Central and South American cultures.

The highlight of this program, in observance of Black History Month, will be the classic Lincoln Portrait by Aaron Copland, narrated by local performing artist Tim O'Brien.

The band's first formal concert of the 2015-2016 season features Ron Nelson's Aspen Jubilee with Austin Mezzo-Soprano Katherine Altobello.

The Austin Symphonic Band presents its traditional Fall concert in Zilker Park. Bring a snack and spread your blanket under the pecan trees at the beautiful Hillside Theatre. Then watch the stars come out as the band showcases music as big as the great outdoors. Richard Floyd conducts.
