ASB Names Three Finalists for Music Director

Austin, TX:

After a thorough search, the Austin Symphonic Band is proud to name three finalists for the position of Music Director: Dr. Kyle R. Glaser, Dr. David W. Clemmer and Dr. Brett A. Richardson. We are thrilled to have each of them join us as a guest conductor during the 2021-22 season. Each conductor brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and artistry to their craft and we feel honored and privileged to work closely with these maestros in the coming months.

Each conductor will select and rehearse their chosen repertoire leading up to a concert performance. The Board of Directors will announce its decision after the final concert in April, just in time to kickstart the summer concert season.

We invite you to join us on this exciting journey and catch a glimpse of the candidates to be the next Music Director of the Austin Symphonic Band!
