The highlight of this program, in observance of Black History Month, will be the classic Lincoln Portrait by Aaron Copland, narrated by local performing artist Tim O'Brien. Selections from The Sound of Musicwill celebrate the 50th anniversary of that legendary Broadway musical and motion picture. Remaining selections create vivid musical portraits of people and places that will stir the audience's musical imagination.
